Woman Arrested for Menacing After Police Respond to ShotSpotter Activation

On Monday, November 29th, 2021, at around 12:56 P.M., Officers responded to the 1000 block of S. Geddes Street for a ShotSpotter activation. Upon arrival, Officers observed numerous people in the area that were being loud and aggressive. No evidence of shots being fired could be found.  During the disturbance, a female, Sterlisha Wise, 30, menaced someone with a knife. As a result, she was arrested for Menacing in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree. Wise was released on an appearance ticket. ​
