Syracuse, NY – Lights on the Lake is partnering with Centro and Syracuse City Parks to provide our neighbors with the opportunity to go through Lights on the Lake on a Centro bus.
Each Thursday from December 1 – January 5th (excluding December 22nd) two Centro buses will pick up a total of sixty participants from one of the five Syracuse City Parks Community Centers and bring them to Lights on the Lake.
The Community Centers participating in this program will be Kirk Park, McChesney Park, Westmoreland Park, Schiller Park, and Wilson Park. Participants, who will register through Syracuse City Parks, will meet at the designated community center at 5pm to board the buses with departure scheduled at 5:30pm. Participation is free. The Centro buses will be greeted at Onondaga Lake Park by Santa who will say hello to participants on the bus and provide everyone with a candy cane.

“Centro is happy to partner with the City of Syracuse and Onondaga County to provide this opportunity for families to participate in Lights on the Lake. This furthers Centro’s commitment to be a dedicated community partner and transportation provider,” said Centro CEO, Brian Schultz.
