University Hill Bike Network Implementation Project Construction Begins on Monday, April 8

Syracuse, N.Y. – Construction of the University Hill Bike Network Implementation Project will start on Monday, April 8. The project involves localized full depth pavement reconstruction, limited sidewalk construction, milling and paving, and the restriping of approximately 1.2 miles, including:

  • Comstock Avenue from Euclid Avenue to Waverly Avenue
  • Waverly Avenue from Comstock Avenue to Irving Avenue
  • South Crouse Avenue from Marshall Street to East Genesee Street

Construction is anticipated to be complete by late July 2019. Construction will be phased and additional notices will be issued as construction progresses. The City is advising the public to expect delays especially during peak hours and to use alternate routes if possible.
