Syracuse, N.Y. – A panel of speakers will discuss the Blueprint 15 plan for holistic redevelopment of the East Adams Street neighborhood in Syracuse during a Zoom public forum from 8 to 9 a.m. Thursday hosted by Syracuse University’s Thursday Morning Roundtable.
The panel will include Stephanie Pasquale, interim CEO of Blueprint 15 and director of neighborhood advancement at the Allyn Family Foundation; Arlaina Harris, director of community partnerships at Blueprint 15; and William Simmons, executive director of the Syracuse Housing Authority.
Blueprint 15 is a not-for-profit organization formed in partnership with the City of Syracuse, the Syracuse Housing Authority and the Syracuse City School District. The partners are working to create an environment where individuals and families thrive and have genuine hope for successful futures and expectations that they will make important contributions to the world around them.
Blueprint 15 recently received a $1 million grant from Enterprise Community Partners, which distributes money won in settlements by the state Attorney General to community projects. The money will be used specifically to promote housing stability and prevent displacement in Syracuse’s 15th Ward area.
Now in its 55th year, Thursday Morning Roundtable features speakers who discuss current topics in Central New York and beyond. Following the forum, residents can use the chat function to ask questions and Emily Winiecki, community engagement coordinator for Syracuse University’s Office of Community Engagement, will moderate the Q&A session.
