Syracuse Juneteenth Celebration is a special event celebrating the people of yesterday. Today, and tomorrow. This year’s honorees will be celebrated for their contributions to Rhythm and Blues in the Salt City. Come celebrate the UAD Show Band, Brownskin Band, and the Blacklites.
The Syracuse Juneteenth Ancestral Celebration event will feature music from TrumpTight 315 and hosted by Dr. Roosevelt “Rick” Wright Jr. Planned by Cora Thomas and the Syracuse Juneteenth Committee.
The Ancestral Celebration continues to rise to another level and returns to a lineup of entertainment, appetizers, a host of desserts and a cash bar. The cost is $50 per ticket.
The program begins at 7:00 pm. DJ Showcase will close out the celebration with music and dancing from 9-11 pm.
