The Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration Organizing Committee is pleased to invite the community to the Opening Ceremony that will take place Thursday, September 15 at 11:50 a.m. at Syracuse City Hall.
This year the Opening Ceremony will feature for the first time in the history of Syracuse and Onondaga County with the presentation of all Hispanic/Latino flags. Additionally, refreshments will be offered inside Syracuse City Hall courtesy of Margaritas Mexican Cantina following the Opening Ceremony. This event is FREE of charge, and open to the General Public.
Similarly, the Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that from September 15 to October 23 there will be a series of cultural events for children, adults and the whole family where Hispanic heritage will be exalted.
Within which there will be art shows at La Casita Cultural Center, plays at the Community Folk Art Center, and many more events.
