The Taste of Syracuse will collect donations for two charitable organizations, McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center and Make-A-Wish Central New York. The Summit, Tops, along with other sponsors and vendors will be working with the festival to raise money for these great charities all weekend long. All proceeds from activities at The Summit’s tent and the Tops tent will be donated to the charities.
“As a local credit union who is committed to supporting Syracuse, The Summit is so excited to be back as the title sponsor of this fantastic event,” said Twanda Christensen, Vice President of Marketing and Community Engagement for The Summit Federal Credit Union. “Please stop by our tent for fun activities and contests. All money raised goes directly to McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center and Make-A-Wish Central New York, two charities that strengthen our communities and make a difference in the lives of area children.”
“We are very pleased to return as the presenting sponsor of the Taste of Syracuse,” said Kathleen Allen, senior manager of community relations for Tops Friendly Markets. “As the neighborhood grocery store serving the Syracuse community, we truly feel this is the right place to showcase our products. We invite everyone to stop by our tent and help us support McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center and Make-A-Wish Central New York as we will be donating 100% of our proceeds to benefit these wonderful charities.”
“We’re excited to back and are ready to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the Taste of Syracuse,” said Galaxy Media chief operating officer, Carrie Wojtaszek. “No matter what you’re looking for, musically or food-wise, we truly can say we’ve got it at the Taste of Syracuse! We’re also thrilled to be raising awareness and funds for both McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center and Make-A-Wish Central New York.
