Syracuse Weekend Crime Blotter: September 12- 13th Two Stabbings and Incidents Involving Guns

Syracuse Police Investigate W. Kirkpatrick Street Stabbing – Saturday, September 12th, 2020, at around 12:56 A.M., Officers responded to the 300 block of W. Kirkpatrick St. for a large fight call. Upon arrival, Officers encountered multiple people in the street that were being violent and aggressive. As Officers were trying to disperse the crowd, a 34-year-old female was located with a laceration to the arm. Officers also found a 28-year-old male with a cut to his face and another 27-year-old male bleeding from the mouth. The injured parties were either treated on scene, or taken to an area hospital, where they all are expected to survive.

Syracuse Police Investigate a Stabbing in the 500 Block of S. Salina Street – Saturday, September 12th, 2020, at around 1:25 P.M., Officers responded to the 500 block of S. Salina St. for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 29-year-old male who had been stabbed in the head. The male was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive.  The incident location was determined to be in the 600 block of S. Salina St.

Syracuse Police Respond to Shots Fired Call on Gertrude Street– Sunday, September 13th, 2020, at around 12:32 A.M., Officers responded to the 100 block of Gertrude St. for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, Officers discovered evidence of a shots fired, and a residence was struck. A person inside of the house had the shoe that they were wearing struck by a bullet. No injuries were reported.

Shooting with Injuries Reported on N. State Street Sunday, September 13th, 2020, at around 2:26 A.M., Officers responded to the 200 block of N. State St. for a shooting with injuries type call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 48-year-old male who was struck in the chest. The male was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
