Syracuse Police Vehicle Involved in Butternut St. Crash

On Sunday, August 30th, 2020, at around 2:38 P.M., a Syracuse Police vehicle was involved in a collision at the intersection of Butternut St. and Lodi St. The Officer was responding to a domestic with a weapon call.

The Officer engaged his emergency equipment, and when driving in the above intersection, collided with another vehicle, an SUV, with a sole occupant driver, female, 50. The Officer was transported to Crouse Hospital for minor injuries. The other driver was treated and released on scene. The investigation is active and ongoing.  ​
