Syracuse Police Respond to South McBride Street Shots Fired Call

On Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, at around 2:53 A.M., Officers responded to the 1100 block of South McBride Street for a shots fired call.  Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of a shots fired, and several casings were located on the scene.

There was also a vehicle found to have been struck by gunfire.  At around the same time, a 27-year-old male arrived at Crouse Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg stemming from this incident.  The victim is expected to survive.

The investigation is active and ongoing; anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department at (315) 442-5222.​​​
