On Saturday, the 16th day of July 2022, at around 8:55 p.m. members of the Syracuse Police Department responded to the athletic field near Clary Middle School for a report of large fight and shots fired where a football game was being held. Multiple callers reporting hearing gunshots after a dispute between unknown persons in the parking lot of the athletic field.
The responding officers located evidence of gun shots as well as an active fight when they arrived. One vehicle was found to have been struck by gunfire, however, no shooting victims have been located at the time of this writing. No suspect is in custody at this time.
