Fitch Street Shooting – Saturday, August 13th, 2022, at around 2:47 P.M., Officers responded to the 200 block of Fitch Street for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 15-year-old male who was shot in the leg. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital and is expected to survive.
SPD Respond to Richmond Ave. Shooting with Injuries – Saturday, the 13th day of August 2022, at around 4:52 p.m. Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 300 block of Richmond Avenue for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a shots fired as evidenced by several casings that were located on the scene. A short time later, a 23-year-old male arrived at Upstate Hospital after being dropped off by a private transport vehicle.
The victim presented with multiple gunshot wounds stemming from the incident. The victim is listed in critical condition.
W. Genesee St. Shooting Reported – Saturday, August 13th, 2022, at around 11:31 P.M., Officers responded to the 500 block of W. Genesee Street for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 36-year-old male who was shot in the arm and midsection. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital and is expected to survive.
15-Year-Old Shot in Leg, Syracuse Police Investigate – Sunday, August 14th, 2022, at around 11:16 A.M., Officers responded to the Upstate Hospital for a shooting with injuries investigation. Upon arrival, Officers located a 15-year-old male who was shot in the leg and is expected to survive. The incident location was determined to be in the 700 block of W. Onondaga Avenue.
16-Year-Old Shot on Sabine Street– Sunday, August 14th, 2022, at around 1:26 P.M., Officers responded to the Upstate Hospital for a shooting with injuries investigation. Upon arrival, Officers located a 16-year-old male who was shot in the wrist and is expected to survive. The incident location was determined to be in the 200 block of Sabine Street.
