On Thursday, the 18th day of August 2022, at around 7:38 p.m. members of the Syracuse Police Department and Syracuse Fire Department responded to 207 Catawba Street, for a reported shooting. The responding officers located a 21-year-old male who was found to have been struck once in the right leg, just above the knee. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, by ambulance, where he is currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. He remains in stable condition at this time.
