A unique community of activists, conscientious consumers and fair traders gather for a weekend of commerce and communing at Plowshares.

Plowshares is the Syracuse Peace Council’s major fundraiser of the year, featuring many wonderful local and regional craftspeople and community organizations. But it is more than a craftsfair – it is a beautiful community of conscientious consumers, fair traders, activists, and first-timers to Plowshares who gather for a weekend of commerce and communing. So bring your good spirits and cheer as you meet old friends and make new.

There are a wide array of crafts to fit every budget – including paintings, jewelry, woodwork, ceramics, clothing, photography, stained glass, soaps, and more.

Enjoy awesome live entertainment all day both days, and bid on the amazing items at SPC’s Silent Auction – gift certificates, a Dean acoustic guitar, a Colleen Kattau house concert, tickets to concerts and more.

We’ll also have yummy vegan and vegetarian food available from food trucks. Drinks will be available from the food trucks and The Workers’ Center of CNY, which is selling coffee, tea, horchata and atole.
