Syracuse PAL & Syracuse Police Department Launch 2nd Annual Black History Month Drawing Contest

Syracuse Police Athletic League

Syracuse PAL & Syracuse Police Department is launching its 2nd annual Black History Month Drawing Contest starting February 1st 2023. The contest is for Middle School & High School students. Please scan the QR Code for rules and guideline for contest. There are a couple changes from last year; 1st we will not accept digital artwork this year.

Everything has to be a physical drawing/ NO TRACING. Secondly, artist can use 11 X 14 sheets of paper. Last year we used 8 X11 we thought that was too small. We will drop off poster size flyers to each middle school and High School this week. Again please scan the QR code on flyer for Rules and Guidelines.

There will be prizes for 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place. All submissions should include first and last name, age, school, and phone number. Drop off all submissions to 511 S. State Street(Syracuse Police Department). Please spread the word!
