Firefighters entered the structure to locate and extinguish the fire and search for victims. As firefighters pushed through the heat and heavy smoke conditions, they encountered 4 occupants trying to exit the structure and assisted them to safety. The fire was reported “out” within 30 minutes and crews remained on scene for a time performing overhaul operations.
