Syracuse Community Health Opens New Family Planning Location

Syracuse, NY, September 7, 2022 – Syracuse Community Health (SCH), serving more than 30,000 patients in the Greater Syracuse area, today announced the opening a new family planning location in Syracuse at 603 Oswego Street on the second floor.

The primary provider at the new location is Laura Sucapani, FNP and prior to joining Syracuse Community Health, she was employed at the Family Planning Services of Onondaga County. At the new location, women can receive a full range of services, including routine GYN care, prenatal/postpartum care, family planning, fetal monitoring, Nurse midwifery and centering pregnancy.  The new location will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:15 pm.  At their primary location on S. Salina Street, the staff at Syracuse Community Health are currently providing a full range of women’s health care services.

“After the closure of Family Planning Services of Onondaga County, we provided services to those patients at our S. Salina Street location, as well as hired many of their employees,” said Mark Hall, President, and Chief Executive Officer at Syracuse Community Health Center. “Now we have a new location in the heart of the communities we serve that will provide state-of-the-art women’s health services in another convenient location.”
