Syracuse City Redistricting – Announces Public Hearings

Syracuse, NY – The Syracuse City Redistricting Commission (SCRC) has announced their first five public hearings. These public hearings will be held for city residents to share input and comments about their neighborhoods and districts. This feedback will be used by the Commission to redraw district lines.

The SCRC is committed to an inclusive, thoughtful, and transparent process. The Commission will work with the New York Census and Redistricting Institute at New York Law School and The Benjamin Center at SUNY New Paltz to support its work. They will help with GIS mapping and understanding the legal implications.
