Publishers note: The New York State Republican Party has chosen this time, not only to bash the President on a withdrawal negotiated by the Trump Administration, but to attack polices that have nothing to do with the current crisis in Ukraine. Instead of coming together, the party has chosen the path of continuing its toxic divisive rhetoric. If Republicans have been “warning about this for a decade”, they chose remain silent while they held the reins of national power; the House, Senate and Presidency. They remained silent while former President Trump met secretly with Russians leaders. And now blame President Biden for an outcome the Republican President negotiated.

Throughout history, America has been a remarkable force for peace and freedom when we lead from a position of strength. From the botched Afghanistan withdrawal to his radical energy policy, Biden’s weakness and ineptitude have led us to this moment, and the results will be felt far beyond the borders of Ukraine. Putin’s naked war of aggression shows just how emboldened he is and every moment that goes by without severe consequences is a threat to the entire globe.”
