On Sunday, July 17th, 2022, at around 3:44 A.M., Officers responded to the 100 block of West Genesee Street for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of a shots fired and several casings were located on the scene.
At around the same time, two victims arrived at Upstate Hospital, by private transport, with gunshot wounds stemming from this incident, a 33-year-old male shot in the shoulder and a 25-year-old female shot in the midsection and leg. Both are expected to survive.
