Objected ballots to be ruled on by the court before results are final
Syracuse, NY— Senator John W. Mannion today maintained his edge in the race for SD-50 following the completion of hand recounts in Onondaga and Oswego Counties.
Senator John W. Mannion said, “A long and challenging campaign is approaching its conclusion and I’m excited to have maintained the lead and look forward to making this victory official. I am incredibly grateful to the board workers and the dozens of volunteers who helped oversee the count.”
The current vote counts give Mannion a 47-vote lead:
Oswego:
Mannion – 10844
Shiroff – 18793
Onondaga:
Mannion – 50741
Shiroff – 42745
Total:
Mannion – 61585
Shiroff – 61538
