New York State Senator Rachel May, running for reelection in the newly drawn 48th State Senate District, was recently endorsed by the New York State AFL-CIO. In addition to the overarching AFL-CIO endorsement, she has already received endorsements from New York State United Teachers, Service Employees International Union 1199, Communication Workers of America District 1, International Union of Operational Engineers Local 158, North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, and the United Food and Commercial Workers District Union Local One.
Senator May said, “Thank you to the New York State AFL-CIO for your endorsement! I will continue to stand for Labor and fight for workers across the state as I have in my four years in the Senate. I’m honored to have the trust from so many labor unions across the state!”
