On Sunday, May 29th, 2022, at around 10:50 A.M., Officers responded to the 300 block of Oak Street for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of a shots fired, and at least one casing was found. Moments later, a 26-year-old male victim arrived at St. Joseph’s Hospital, by private transport, with gunshot wounds to his legs stemming from the shots fired call.
The victim is expected to survive. The investigation is active and ongoing; anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department at (315) 442-5222.
