Office of Minority Affairs to Host Last Grow Your Business Series Webinar Friday, Sept. 25

Syracuse, N.Y. — The City of Syracuse Office of Minority Affairs will invite minority- and women-owned enterprises and small businesses to participate in the final webinar of 2020 in its Grow Your Business series. Entrepreneurs and business owners can join the free online event to hear from procurement professionals on Friday, Sept. 25 at 4 p.m. The four-part series has covered topics and available resources for businesses that have experienced challenges as a result of COVID-19.

The panel of speakers will share information about contracting opportunities within the health care, lending, residential housing and energy industries. One of the speakers will discuss the benefit of obtaining a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Section 3 business certification which focuses on providing local residents and contractors economic development prospects.
