On Friday April 30, 1pm-4pm – A semester-long discussion titled “Race and Policing in America” will culminate Friday April 30 with a symposium, “Change Is Going To Come.” The event will begin at 1 p.m. and is open virtually to the public. Scheduled to participate in the symposium are:

- Kenton Buckner, Syracuse Police Chief
- Pamela Hunter, New York State Assemblywoman
- Yusuf Abdul-Qadir, Lead Organizer Syracuse Police Accountability and Reform Coalition
- Ranette Releford, Citizen Review Board Administrator
- Dave Wall, Retired Onondaga Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy and current OCC Criminal Justice Professor
