The Syracuse Chapter of the National Action Network will hold their regular meeting this Saturday June 15th, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Fountain of Life Church, located at 700 South Avenue, Syracuse NY 13207.
Their guest will be Chief of Police Kenton Buckner, to discuss Community Policing as it relates to our recommendation from the DOJ’s Ferguson Report, and what our next steps are as a community. Representatives from the NYCLU and SPARCC will also be on hand to communicate our shared vision for policing in Syracuse.
NAN will also make a Public Statement to reiterate our stand regarding the viral video/inappropriate police encounter at Skiddy Park.
