Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project beginning Friday, June 24 on James Street on the northeast side of the city. Crews will mill (remove the top layer of existing pavement) and repave James Street from Lodi Street to Warren Street in Downtown Syracuse.
Work is expected to take place between 7:00am and 5:00pm, during which the road will remain open with lane closures and flaggers. Milling is expected to be complete by the end of the day on Monday, June 27, and paving will start later in the week.
Actual project start dates and timeframes are contingent on favorable weather.
