Mayor Walsh and DPW Commissioner Jeremy Robinson deployed a Summer Litter Sweep on the Northside today. More than two dozen crew members are picking up litter and trash in and around city streets. “Our volunteer Clean-up ‘Cuse Adopt-A-Block teams are doing a great job, but they need more help,” said Mayor Walsh. “DPW crews started last weekend going after problem areas on the near Westside. This weekend, it’s the Northside. We’ll keep sending crews out to different quadrants into early August to help get more litter off our streets.”
Great efforts by the city of Syracuse DPW team for being out there, on such a hot and humid morning.
