Louis Beaulieu (49) of Liverpool was charged Monday evening with manslaughter in the 1st degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree in connection with the stabbing death of Nicholas Buck. In addition to those charges, Beaulieu was charged with assault in the 1st degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree for a separate incident that occurred in the City of Syracuse whereby Beaulieu assaulted a man with a baseball bat.
The victim of the assault, a friend of Buck, continues to remain hospitalized. Based on the investigation, Buck located and confronted Beaulieu in the LeMoyne Mobile Home Park, where a fight occurred between the two, which left Buck dead.
Beaulieu has been lodged in the Justice Center and is awaiting arraignment.
