Syracuse, N.Y. – City of Syracuse Department of Public Works (DPW) will adjust the traffic signal at the intersection of S. Geddes and W. Onondaga Streets from a yellow and red flashing light, back to a full (three color) operation on Friday, April 1.
The bi-annual changeover is a regularly scheduled seasonal conversion to address the flow of traffic for vehicles traveling on the busy S. Geddes Street hill in wintry conditions from November to the end of March. The traffic signal conversion will return the signal to three color operation (red, yellow, and green) including pedestrian button crossings, for the spring and summer months.
