Deborah Housley-Preaster Recruits “TNT” participants for Valley and Southside communities at Tonight’s Meeting

Deborah Housley-Preaster has been elected Chairperson of the Quality of Life Committee of Tomorrow’s Neighborhoods Today better known as TNT.

According to Housley-Preaster “I intend to form a coalition of people who are diverse in race, culture, gender, age and financial status. In realizing this is the only way to successfully acquire a true balance of diversity within any community.”

Housley-Preaster has been active in the area that straddles “The Valley” and “South side” neighborhoods.

In an effort to reach as many people as possible Debrorah Housley-Preaster has distributed a letter to the general community that reads in part…

“This letter is coming to you at a time when change is on the forefront and hope is world-wide. I address this to all of you who share in the understanding of the Worlds reaction to the recent election of our new President Barak Obama and the impact it has had on all nations. To all of you who are still torn and confused, I pray that you can come to terms in understanding that the time for much needed peace is now. That the time for unity among all people is now!

The letter continues…

“So in this truth I want to invite you as a community member of the Valley Community to attend the next T.N.T. meeting. Where the doors are always open to share ideas, learn what is happening around you and truly be a part of positive change for our community.”

The next T.N.T. meeting is on:

Wednesday November 12, 2008
At 7PM At the Cecil Center
Located at the corner of Midland Ave. and Seneca TKP. (The old firehouse)
