Crime Blotter: September 12th Busy Day for Syracuse Police Department Multiple calls within Hours of Each other

Stabbing Call on Erie Blvd East – Sunday, September 12th, 2021, at around 5:28 A.M., Officers responded to the 400 block of Erie Boulevard East for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 22-year-old male who was stabbed in the midsection.  The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive. The incident location was determined to be at the intersection of E Water Street and Townsend Street.

Police respond to Shots Fired Call Coughlin Avenue – Sunday, September 12th, 2021, at around 9:35 A.M., Officers responded to the area of Coughlin Avenue, and Lillian Avenue for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of a shots fired, and several casings were located. No injuries were reported.

Shooting with Injuries on Hawley Avenue –  Sunday, September 12th, 2021, at around 11:06 A.M., Officers responded to the 300 block of Hawley Avenue for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 25-year-old male who was shot in both legs.  The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital in serious condition.
