Upon arrival, Officers located a 32-year-old male victim who was shot in the leg. The victim arrived at Upstate Hospital by private transport and is expected to survive. The incident location was determined to be in the area of Salina Street and Beard Avenue. Police Respond to Stabbing Call on W. Brighton Ave. – Thursday, May 26th, 2022, at around 7:52 P.M., Officers responded to 306 W. Brighton Avenue for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 32-year-old male victim stabbed in the face and arm. The victim was stabbed by his intimate partner, Shatwyna Baldwin, 23, during a dispute that the two had prior to police arrival. Baldwin was arrested and booked for Assault in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree. The victim is expected to survive.
