Crime Blotter: Busy July 4th Holiday for Syracuse Police as they investigate Multiple incidents of ‘Shooting with Injuries’

Shooting Victim taken to Upstate Hospital by Private Car– Sunday, July 4th, 2021, at around 11:32 P.M., Officers responded to Upstate Hospital for a shooting with injuries investigation. Upon arrival, Officers located a 28-year-old female who was shot in the arm and arrived at the hospital by private vehicle.  The victim is expected to survive.

Shooting with Injuries on Craddock Street – Monday, July 5th, 2021, at around 1:14 A.M., Officers responded to the 300 block of Craddock Street for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 20-year-old male who was shot in the head, a 15-year-old male who was shot in the back, and a 17-year-old male who was shot in the back.  All victims were transported to area hospitals. The 15,17-year-old males are expected to survive; the 20-year-old male is listed in critical condition.  ​

Police Investigate graze-type wound – On Monday, July 5th, 2021, at around 2:27 A.M., Officers responded to Upstate Hospital for a shooting with injuries investigation. Upon arrival, Officers located a 56-year-old male who had a graze-type gunshot wound to the arm.  The victim is expected to survive. The incident location is still under investigation.
