City of Syracuse Announces Southbound Lane Closure on East Avenue in Meadowbrook Area

Syracuse, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse Department of Public Works (DPW) announced a southbound lane closure on East Avenue from Salt Springs Road to East Genesee Street beginning Monday August 15 to facilitate a sidewalk reconstruction project on the west side of East Avenue.

Signage will be in place to alert travelers of the closure. The southbound lane will remain closed to through traffic for the duration of the project and will not be removed in the evening hours. The project is expected to be completed within 10 days.

Actual project start dates and time frames are contingent on favorable weather.
