On Monday, September 5th, 2022, at around 5:56 P.M., Officers responded to the 300 block of Kellogg Street for a stabbing and assault call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 29-year-old male who was stabbed in the back and suffered injuries to the face. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition. Another victim, a 44-year-old female, was found to have two broken arms. This victim was transported to the hospital, where she is expected to survive.
The investigation revealed that the female victim’s ex-husband, Edward Claudio, 43, and his son, Ricardo Claudio, 24, entered the victims’ residence, on Kellogg Street, and caused the above injuries. Ricardo later turned himself in at the Public Safety Building for this incident and other previous outstanding warrants. Ricardo was arrested and booked for Assault in the First Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, and Burglary in the First Degree. The investigation is active and ongoing.
