Busy Sunday & Monday for Syracuse Police Department: Stabbings, Shots Fired Calls

Furman Street Stabbing Call– Sunday, June 20th, 2021, at around 6:04 P.M., Officers responded to the 200 block of Furman Street for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 41-year-old male who was stabbed in the chest.  The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive.

Syracuse Police Respond to Shots Fired on Darling Road – Sunday, June 20th, 2021, at around 8:10 P.M., Officers responded to the 600 block of Darlington Road for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of a shots fired, and several casings were located.  A residence was also discovered to have been struck by gunfire multiple times. The investigation revealed that this shots fired call occurred on June 19th, 2021, and was discovered the next day.

Stabbing Reported on Delaware Street –  Sunday, June 20th, 2021, at around 10:14 P.M., Officers responded to the 200 block of Delaware Street for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 21-year-old male who was stabbed in the stomach multiple times.  The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive.

James Street Stabbing Call – Monday, June 21st, 2021, at around 12:49 A.M., Officers responded to the 600 block of James Street for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 53-year-old male who was stabbed in the arm and midsection.  The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive.

Hartson St. Stabbing Call – Monday, June 21st, 2021, at around 2:40 A.M., Officers responded to the 100 block of Hartson Street for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 17-year-old male who was stabbed in the arm.  The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
