Anyone install Waves plugins since the V10 upgrade?

Waves Version 9

You can deactivate a license and send it your license cloud. Use the arrow at the right to expand the list.

Waves Version 9

The network buffer can be set to 104–1024 samples. SoundGrid configuration and patching requires a SoundGrid V13 or V12 application, such as SuperRack to be installed. Computers using a SoundGrid ASIO/Core Audio driver can be configured for up to 128 I/Os. All Waves plugins support 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz; most support higher sample rates. When running the SoundGrid driver on Windows 10 with Pro Tools 2022.5, HDX is not available. We are looking into this issue and will update this page when more information is available. Compact servers are supported under MultiRack SoundGrid up to version 9.5 only.

Re: SNEAKY WAVES… Waveshell for version 9 stealth deleted

All plugins now have control mapping for Avid S3 and S6 control surfaces. Fixed issues when routing audio between X-WSG and SoundGrid ASIO/Core Audio Driver.

I’m at the point where I cannot be bothered installing Waves any longer, I only use two or three and I’m damned if I’m installing a zillion plugins I’ll never use. I don’t like the ‘all or nothing installer’, it might be convenient for Waves but it’s a pita for me. It’s completely solvable, but Waves really could have made the install/update process much more intuitive.

Waves TDM E.O.L. (End Of Line) No Longer Supported After Version 9.6

Use the Waves Central application to get the latest version of eMotion LV1. License Management is no longer possible with this version.

Once you download the proper version for you, uncompressed it. To check if a certain plugin https://www.wave-accounting.net/ exists in a older version, scroll to the bottom of the older version’s download page.

WAVES – how to update & compatibility?

And don’t leave the external drive powered on unless you’re actually making the clone. CCC can be set to do timed backups if you want that. Set up a regular time to do the backup. I do mine at least once a week on a Friday or Saturday. Oddly enough NI went out of their way to update Massive X to run in Rosetta on M1 Macs though. Arturia just updated everything they make to Apple Silicon.

How do I downgrade from Waves 13 to 12?

Click the View menu and select V12. Use the search bar to search for and select the specific products you wish to install. Review the selections in the Summary section. Click the Install button.

I had already tried much of what was suggested in this solution, but it seems that it was deleting the WaveShell stuff that did the trick in the end. Waves also brought the same kind of solution consisting in removing the caches files . Plug the installer disk-on-key into a USB Waves Version 9 port on your D-Show console. If that did not work out for you I suggest a complete uninstall – reinstall process. Waves will ask to be directed to the Waves folder but will not allow any Waves folder to be selected. If you already have Waves Central installed, skip to step 3.

Important Notes:

Mac models without ‘Metal’ support are not supported with V13. Mac models without ‘Metal’ support are not supported with V14. In the middle panel, select the product/s you wish to install.

Download and install Waves Central for Mac | Windows. Personally I thinks its a testament to the company to have supported the TDM format for longer than its owners Avid and they should be congratulated on that fact.

Update to the Latest Waves Version

Bucket View in the CLA MixHub plugin is currently not supported in MultiRack. All SoundGrid servers are supported, except DiGiGrid DGS-XL , which is neither certified nor supported for use with SuperRack. For a list of all known issues, please click here. Bucket View in the CLA MixHub plugin is currently not supported in eMotion LV1. SoundGrid Impact, Mobile and Proton servers support the eMotion LV1 16-channel configuration at sample rates of up to 48 kHz only. These changes can the affect the network ports used for SoundGrid and may compromise performance of the SoundGrid network.
