All plugins now have control mapping for Avid S3 and S6 control surfaces. Fixed issues when routing audio between X-WSG and SoundGrid ASIO/Core Audio Driver.

I’m at the point where I cannot be bothered installing Waves any longer, I only use two or three and I’m damned if I’m installing a zillion plugins I’ll never use. I don’t like the ‘all or nothing installer’, it might be convenient for Waves but it’s a pita for me. It’s completely solvable, but Waves really could have made the install/update process much more intuitive.

I had already tried much of what was suggested in this solution, but it seems that it was deleting the WaveShell stuff that did the trick in the end. Waves also brought the same kind of solution consisting in removing the caches files . Plug the installer disk-on-key into a USB Waves Version 9 port on your D-Show console. If that did not work out for you I suggest a complete uninstall – reinstall process. Waves will ask to be directed to the Waves folder but will not allow any Waves folder to be selected. If you already have Waves Central installed, skip to step 3.

Update to the Latest Waves Version

SoundGrid Impact, Mobile and Proton servers support the eMotion LV1 16-channel configuration at sample rates of up to 48 kHz only. These changes can the affect the network ports used for SoundGrid and may compromise performance of the SoundGrid network.

• Open Waves Central and click on ‘create offline installer’, or whatever that option is on the left side – and make offline installers for your legacy Waves plugins .
• That is why v9 version are only available as offline downloads but no longer via Central.

EMotion LV1 V12 and above requires a graphics card that supports ‘Metal’. USB displays are not supported as the primary display. The latest version of Waves Central is specified above. Older versions will no longer work. Sample libraries for Waves instruments must be installed manually. Products released after May 3, 2018 have not been added to the v9.92 installer.
