ALVORD HOUSE & SEHR PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: Sealed bids for Alvord House & Sehr Park Improvement Project located at 399 Marsden Road will be received by the Town Clerk located at 201 School Road, Liverpool, NY 13088, until 10:00 a.m. local time, on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, and then at said time publicly opened and read aloud.
Plans and specifications may be obtained at the Town of Salina Town Clerk’s office and at CHA for $50.00 (Refundable). Plans and specifications may be examined free of charge at Dodge F.W. McGraw Hill Information Services Company, Syracuse Builders Exchange, and Onondaga County Community Development office.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. This project is partially funded by a grant from the Onondaga County Community Development Division.
Approximately $90,000 will be financed with federal money. All proposals shall be made and shall be received upon the following conditions:
1. Bidders will be required to commit themselves to a goal for minority business participation in the contracts.
2. Only such proposals received by the office of the Town Clerk will be accepted.
3. Proposals are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope.
4. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
The Town Board reserves the right to reject all bids and advertise anew, if, in the judgment of said board, it shall be in the best interest of the Town to do so.
