Syracuse, New York — It’s easy to get discouraged watching the news every night or scrolling through your feed on facebook – seeing that there’s been another shooting, another small business that closed down, or another fight at the local high school. But change doesn’t happen when you’re watching the news, it can only happen when we take it upon ourselves to make the news. We can create good jobs and quality housing and we can make our schools and our streets safer.
Together, we can build a safer city, a fairer city, but only if we can come together this Tuesday and vote for it. I’m running to be a mayor for all of us, and I hope you’ll join me in making our shared vision for a better Syracuse a reality for all our families.
