Dr. Juhanna Rogers crosses the country with upcoming live performances, interviews, and a new season of Behind the Woman

6th Annual Fort Worth Fringe Festival (Performer)
Dr. Rogers will be heading to the Lone Star State of Texas next month. She has been invited to perform one of her works of art, Shattering, at the Fort Worth Fringe Festival, an annual event co-produced by Theatre Network of Texas, Inc. and Arts Fort Worth.
“Shattering” is a solo poetic performance piece that reflects on the journey of a young girl, known affectionately as Nicole, as she grows up to be Juhanna. Young Nicole struggles with blazing her own trail and meeting everyone’s approval of who they believe she should be. Juhanna feels the weight of becoming her own woman and transitioning into the successful Dr. Juhanna Rogers. Despite her self-discovery, this dynamic business leader and one-woman powerhouse finds herself, once again, seeking approval. Exploring Harriet (Instructor)
A class featuring the Power of Monologue will be taught by none other than Dr. Rogers in Auburn in September. This course will explore the power of playwriting using Harriet Tubman as the muse. The troupe will work on monologues and the power of narrative.

Behind the Woman Season 3 (Host)
Central New York’s popular talk show known for sharing inspiration and insight into the region’s most powerful and influential women of various backgrounds, returns for a third season on WCNY (PBS) in October. Universal Hip Hop Museum (Host)
Also, in October, Dr. Rogers will venture to the Bronx to host the Universal Hip Hop Museum’s 4th Annual Black-Tie Banquet & Fundraiser.
