On Thursday, June 23rd, 2022, at around 9:01 P.M., Officers responded to the 1300 block of S. State Street for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of a shots fired, and several casings were located on the scene. Officers also found a vehicle that was struck by gunfire.
Around the same time, a 16-year-old male victim arrived at Upstate Hospital, by private transport, with a gunshot wound to the leg stemming from the shots fired incident. The victim is expected to survive.
