Melvin Jamison, 73, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday, March 25th at home. He attended Central Tech and was the Lead Singer of the band New Decade. Melvin worked as a Family Counselor at Southwest Community Center and most recently as a landscaper and carpenter.
He was predeceased by his son Jamie Jamison; his parents, Berthell Richardson and George Wade; and his father, William Jamison.
Survivors include his children, Melinda Blake, Tamra (Alex) Radcliffe, Melvin Jamison, Jr., Shannon Jamison, Chayna (Tremaine) Short, and Brittany Jamison; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
