The Syracuse City School District’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department, in partnership with nearly 70 local businesses, will host its inaugural Career Fair for all juniors and seniors in the District’s more than 20 CTE programs.
On Tuesday, March 22, in collaboration with Onondaga Community College, Partners for Education & Business, and MACNY, employers will engage with 11th and 12th graders to discuss part-time and full-time employment, internships, job shadows, volunteering, and more. Students in SCSD Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) programs who are working toward their Associate’s Degree will also attend.
This first of its kind event is intended to help connect local employers with students soon to be entering the workforce who are trained in the fields of technology, healthcare, construction trades, advanced manufacturing, public service, entrepreneurship, and trades.
The Career Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd at the Onondaga Community College SRC Arena (4585 W. Seneca Turnpike).
