Police Respond to Stabbing on Lodi Street

On Sunday, February 13th, 2022, at around 2:11 A.M., Officers responded to a residence in the 2400 block of Lodi Street for a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 42-year-old male, Dietrich Parker, who was stabbed in the leg, and a 31-year-old female who was stabbed in the head. 

Both victims were transported to Upstate Hospital, where they are expected to survive. The investigation revealed that the two were stabbed by a female suspect, Emily Horton, 31, during a dispute in the residence that took place prior to police arrival. 

Horton was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree. Parker, who had an outstanding warrant for Assault in the Second Degree from a previous incident, was later transported to the Justice Center after receiving treatment.
