Sankofa Tree Lighting December 3 at 6:30 PM Southside residents were treated to music & Community Youth dancers entertained a crowd of more than 100, Beauchamp library hosted the event coordinated by Common Councilor Latoya Allen. Common Council member, Chol Majok and family were also in attendance. Tasty snacks were provided by Common Council staff and The Greater Syracuse Southside Neighborhood Association. – by Jacqueline Lasonde
