Syracuse Police: W. Genesee St. Shooting Injures Two

On Sunday, November 28th, 2021, at around 2:01 A.M., Officers responded to the 300 block of W. Genesee Street for a shooting with injuries call. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence of shots being fired. A building and a car were found to have been struck by gunfire. A short time later, a 29-year-old male, shot in the arm and chest, and a 26-year-old male, shot multiple times in the lower part of his body, both arrived at Upstate Hospital with injuries stemming from 300 W. Genesee Street.  Both victims are expected to survive. The investigation is active and ongoing; anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department at (315) 442-5222. ​​
