Syracuse, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse Department of Water will close E. Jefferson Street from S. Salina Street to Bank Alley beginning Tuesday, Aug. 10. The closure will allow continued work on a water main replacement project. Detours will be in place to redirect traffic heading north on S. Salina Street or west on E. Jefferson Street. Bank Alley will remain open.
