Town of Salina, New York – The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office reports that Detectives have charged a Syracuse woman in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the parking lot of Mickey’s Goodtime Saloon in the Town of Salina.
On July 25, 2021, approximately 11:12 P.M., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to St. Joseph Hospital to investigate a stabbing to a 22 year-old female victim who arrived at the hospital with multiple lacerations. The victim reported that she was attacked and stabbed multiple times by another woman while walking to her vehicle in the parking lot of Mickey’s Goodtime Saloon off Galster Avenue. The victim’s injuries were considered non-life threatening.
Detectives responded to Mickey’s Goodtime Saloon where they located evidence of an assault and interviewed witnesses. Subsequent investigation led to the assailant’s identification.
On Wednesday afternoon, Detectives charged Renata Anderson (37) of Syracuse, with assault in the 1st degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree. She was arraigned Thursday morning in Centralized Arraignment Court, with bail set at $25,000 cash $40,000 bond. She has since bonded out of the Justice Center and is due to appear in the Town of Salina Court on August 2nd.
