“Mayor Walsh has done a great job for the City of Syracuse over the past three and half years,” said Ted Skerpon, President/Business Manager for Local 97. “His independence and commitment to partnership has drawn investment to our region which has helped create jobs and opportunity for working people. We look forward to his leadership in a second term.”

“Local 97 members are a critical part of the region’s success and growth, so it is a great honor to have their support,” said Mayor Walsh. “My team and I are working every day to make Syracuse a stronger city for all who live and work here. We thank Local 97 for all it is doing to grow Syracuse and Central New York.”
